Licensing

To use ScapeFX for your game you must purchase a license. ScapeFX is distributed under an annual license with two fees based on the type of your game:

If you are running a completely FREE game (no fees, no selling of ingame material) you may purchase the Free Advertisement Version of ScapeFX.

This version of ScapeFX is completely free to use but includes advertisement from Mythicscape. This version may not be used for commercial games that accept fees or sell ingame material to players. If you change your organization so you do not qualify for the Free Advertisement Version you must immediately remove ScapeFX from your site or buy the full commercial license.

Annual license cost: FREE

Any game that charges a fee to play, sell ingame material or in any other way run their game as a business or organization that works with money fall under this category. If you want to use ScapeFX without advertisement from Mythicscape you may also use this version of the license.

Annual license cost: €299





SampleSFX Request

If you wish to test the ScapeFX product before you can apply for the SampleSFX project. You will then get the necessary tools to build your own client and test it for your own game. Please visit this page and apply to get the sample project: SampleSFX



Purchase information

After you have purchased your license through PayPal we will process your order and add your site as a licensed host. This may take up to a couple business days depending on the speed of paypal and our current workload.

When your order is received we will contact you through the email you used when submitting your order and we will ask for some information regarding your site which we need to validate you as a licensed host.
